The Business Development Executive at a leading tech company in Nugegoda will be responsible for driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing customer relationships. This role requires a dynamic and proactive individual who can effectively communicate the value of the company's products and services to potential clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create strategies for lead generation.
  • Prepare and present business proposals and contracts to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market demand.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company and its services.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the tech industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and data to inform business strategies.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales.
