As a QA Intern, you will work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. This role provides a hands-on opportunity to learn about the QA process, including software testing, debugging, and reporting. You will assist with various testing activities to help identify bugs and ensure products meet high standards before release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing test cases for different applications to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to understand testing requirements.
- Identify, log, and track software defects through various testing tools.
- Perform manual testing of new features, functionality, and regression tests.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of test results and reports.
- Learn to write and execute automated test scripts (optional based on team’s tools).
- Support the QA team in maintaining testing environments and ensuring testing readiness.
- Participate in team meetings, providing input on QA processes and improvements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with common testing concepts like functional testing, regression testing, and UAT.
- Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Experience with testing tools like JIRA, Selenium, or Postman is a plus (but not required).
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new testing environments.
